The Nick & Kelly Children's Heart Fund assists Arizona families of children with congenital heart defects and acquired heart disease. The goal is to minimize the financial and emotional burden on the families and enable the children to enjoy an active, fulfilling life.Dan and Margaret Majetich founded the organization in 1985 after the death of their younger son, Kelly, from a congenital heart defect. They added the name of their remaining child, Nick, after his death in 1992.
