- I would first like to say that I believe that to have any Evil you must have some Good. If everything were innately Good or Evil, would we ever think that we were either? We wouldnÂ’t know because we would have never seen the other side of the story. Therefore, I propose that Evil is defined by Good. In other words, Evil claims to be exactly the opposite of what Good would claim. Evil as we know it today is mostly if not explicitly defined by religion or namely Christianity (not claiming as fact).
