- NJPIRC is a program of Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey (PCA-NJ), a statewide, non-profit organization founded in 1979. In 2006, the US Department of Education awarded a five year grant that will allow PCA-NJ to provide leadership and technical assistance to non-profit organizations and local educational agencies to help those organizations put successful parental involvement programs in place. The policies and activities of NJPIRC are designed to improve student academic achievement and to help ensure that students in NJ, particularly those in low performing districts, achieve high academic performance.
