Title edit
Welcome to JUSTNET: Justice Technology Information Network
Description edit
The Office of Justice Programs' National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is the research and development agency of the U.S. Department of Justice. NLECTC is a program of NIJ's Office of Science and Technology.
Created in 1994 as a component of the National Institute of Justice's (NIJ's) Office of Science and Technology, the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) system serves as an "honest broker" offering support, research findings, and technological expertise to help State and local law enforcement and corrections personnel perform their duties more safely and efficiently.
The NLECTC system consists of facilities across the country that are colocated with an organization or agency that specializes in one or more specific areas of research and development. Although each NLECTC facility has a different technology focus, they work together to form a seamless web of support, providing technology assistance, support, and information. Learn more about the different NLECTC facilities by clicking on the map below.
