My passion for pastry began at 12 years old when I built my first gingerbread house. I fulfilled my passion by making it my career, studying at George Brown College then apprenticing and working in the industry at home and abroad.
During my studies at college I met Brian Cushing, a well experienced chef who had returned to college to review his pastry skills. We got married.
In 1997 we began our wholesale pastry company, Noisette Pastry Works. We set out to offer fine cakes, plated desserts, breakfast and French pastries to caterers, fine food stores, golf and country clubs and restaurants.
