Most of northgeorgiaweather.com's data are derived from a personal weather station (Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus) located on the shoreline of North Georgia’s beautiful Lake Blue Ridge in the mountains of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
New weather data upload via FTP every ~5 minutes. However, the long-range forecasts, weather warnings, and radar data are fed via NWS, HAM Weather and NOAA condition reports. This weather station also feeds weather data to Weather U/G , Weather Matrix , Anything Weather, and CWOP/APRS.
The weather station's "sky cam" is mounted to the same pole as the weather station, so you're seeing the weather that it 'sees'. The sky cam is equipped with nightvision so dawn, dusk, and nighttime will appear a bit different than real life.
