Introduction
Northampton College merged with Daventry Tertiary College in August 2004 and is now one of the largest general Further Education Colleges in the region, serving Northampton, Daventry, the south and west of Northamptonshire and nearby towns and villages.
It provides a very broad range of education and training through full-time and part-time academic and vocational courses as well as offering Entry to Employment (E2E), Apprenticeships and some Higher Education courses. There are approximately 14,000 students who study at the College's centres in Northampton, Daventry, Brackley and Towcester.
The largest site at Booth Lane in Northampton is situated near the Weston Favell shopping centre on the north east side of the town. Most of its buildings have been purpose-built in the last twelve years and there is a long term plan for further expansion and improvement in the future.
