- Notori Dobermans and Whippets is located on beautiful Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. I breed Doberman Pinscher and Whippet puppies in my home. I have Dobermans and Whippets for the show ring, obedience, rally, agility, flyball, lure cousing, tracking, search and rescue, therapy work and much, much more. All of my puppies are home raised and well socialized. Prior to breeding, all of my dogs are health tested for the following breed appropriate health clearances: vWD (DNA), routine blood chemistry (annually), Michigan State Thyroid (annually), Cardiac Ultrasound, EKG and Holter Monitor (prior to each breeding), OFA hips, CERF eyes (annually), and brucellosis (prior to each breeding). Once I have puppies, I follow the protocols for the following: Early Neurological Stimulation, Educating the Infant Puppy, Rules of 7 and Developing High Achievers. All puppies have dewclaws removed, Doberman tails docked, microchip implanted, age appropriate vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and Doberman ears cropped in a veterinary clinic prior to leaving my home. Although my preference is conformation and performance homes, I often have wonderful pets available to the right home. As an experienced breeder, I choose the puppy that is right for your home and lifestyle. I do this through observation, temperament testing (Volhard's test) and an application process. All pet quality puppies are sold on a limited registration with a spay/neuter contract. I will not : sell a Doberman puppy with natural ears, sell more than one puppy from the same litter to a single home or fly a puppy as cargo. I recommend We Move Pets for ground transportation if you can not travel to me yourself. I currently breed black/rust and red/rust Dobermans.
