Description
n+1 is a twice-yearly print journal of politics, literature, and culture. Issue Three should arrive in bookstores before the end of September. (Annotated table of contents here; to subscribe click here.) We update the website with new content at least as often as each Monday.
Writers interested in contributing to n+1 should note that we come out only twice a year, and that most if not all of the slots available for a given issue will have been filled by the editors many months before publication.
That said, if you would like to brave the odds, the best submissions guidelines are those implied by the magazine itself. Read an issue or two through to get a sense of whether your piece might fit into n+1. Nonfiction authors, please send a query (not a full article) outlining your argument to editors@nplusonemag.com. We will do our best to answer all queries, but if you don’t hear back from us within 6 weeks, assume the worst.
