What is NQuit? It is a shape-shifting business entity. Click on the catalog link and NQuit may appear to be a record label, publishing company or distributor. Go to the Dustin Sweet gallery, and NQuit may appear to be an artists' collective. Attempt to hire Aaron Trumm for an acting gig, and NQuit will appear to be an acting group.
In reality, NQuit is all of these things and more, existing since 1995, founded by Aaron Trumm, a performer/producer/musician/etc. It is the business structure that all of the NQuit Few's endeavors go through. If we make a record, it will be sold at NQuit's website. If we write a book, it will be sold at NQuit's website. If you write Aaron a check for contracted services rendered (even if they are retiling your bathroom floor), it will be made out to NQuit. If we go on tour, NQuit check cards will pay for the gas.
You will notice names other than Aaron, such as Larry Lines or Dominguez or the aforementioned Dustin Sweet involved with NQuit endeavors (not to mention other peeps such as Troy Winscott, Kara Smith, Kelly Giordano, all the cats at Twisted Pop and on and on and on). This is one of the major reasons NQuit exists. It plays record label, distributor, website gallery, artists' collective, whatnot. Whatever business model is needed by NQuitters, NQuit will provide. NQuit will announce things on the website like who the Houston Slam Team is, or that Larry Lines is releasing a CD, or that Dustin Sweet is selling a comic book, or that Vasco de Gamma has famous cowheads on display in the Louvre.
