About the NWDA
The Northwest Regional Development Agency provides strategic leadership, programmes and funding to ensure the sustainable economic development and regeneration of England’s Northwest, one of the United Kingdom’s largest and most important regions.
We work closely with a range of partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors to achieve a number of agreed objectives set out in a comprehensive economic plan known as the Regional Economic Strategy (RES). Click here to find out more information on this important document for the region.
Projects and schemes supported and funded by NWDA are largely delivered by other organisations at sub-regional and local level. The Agency underpins this process with a growing range of innovative services, professional expertise and a proactive management based around a number of inter-linked, operational teams.
