The passion that Nelson W. Lober Sr. had in college when the study of the criminal mind was leading him to become a court psychologist was adjusted when his wife informed him of her pregnancy. He knew that graduate study was going to be tough so, he directed his efforts toward business and the use of psychological principles with reference to business and specifically toward retail.
He joined the retail market and soon rose to management. With 13 menswear stores under his auspices, he experimented with his school gained knowledge and his stores experienced exceptional growth.
As he tired of the day to day rigors of retail, he found his passion was now seated in new store development. He joined a national fixture company where he led the nation in sales for several years and he formed a strong relationship with the top pharmaceutical firms in the nation through his hospital and pharmacy work. The bonds were so strong that he is still called in to handle problem projects for these mammoth businesses.
