OK.gov provides one-stop access to state and local government: a centralized electronic portal where citizens and businesses can easily access government information and services from multiple agencies. OK.gov operates as a public-private partnership managed by the Oklahoma Office of State Finance to create an Internet gateway facilitating interaction with Oklahoma government electronically.
A portal is a single entry point from which a variety of information, products and services are easily accessible. The OK.gov portal was designed to be intuitive and easy to use, regardless of a visitor's knowledge of state government structure. In addition, the portal is constantly being revised to better reflect new information and services provided by different state entities, as well as suggestions from portal visitors.
OK.gov's custom-designed eGovernment applications, coupled with a payment engine, allows individuals and businesses to interact with their government in a way that makes sense for their needs - fewer long lines, inconveniences or mail-related delays. OK.gov works with individual state departments and agencies to identify potential services that can be implemented through the portal.
