- My name is Barbara Swafford. I am a novice to blogging, however, I am not a novice to living life. Over the years I have encountered many experiences that have shaped me, my personality and the choices I make. Being a good listener all of my life, I have learned a lot of life’s lessons from others and from the choices, good and bad, that they made. Some lessons I learned are from what my Mother called “the school of hard knocks”. Lessons learned in that “school” usually stick and if you made a bad choice, you’re bound not to repeat that behavior.
