Orange County People for Animals - Home
Description edit
Our Mission
Orange County People for Animals is a Southern California-based 501(c)3 non-profit animal advocacy organization founded in 1988 to help create a compassionate, healthy and peaceful planet for all living beings.
Our Activities
Our activities include humane education, community speaking, educational seminars, outreach programs and tabling, events promoting awareness of animal rights, and legislation and media contact.
Tina Locklear is General Counsel for the technology and intellectual property division of a local Fortune 500 company and spends her free time lobbying for animal rights reform. She has been an animal rights activist since graduating Western State University College of Law in 1998. Currently serving as the President of OCPA, Tina learned much of the true horror of industrialized animal abuse after finding OCPA in 1999. Her past experience in volunteerism includes serving as treasurer for a children’s rights organization and two educational organizations (Law Review and Delta Theta Phi Fraternity.) Tina was an accountant before pursuing a law degree. She resides in Orange with her five rescued cats.
