The Orange County Fire Authority is a regional fire service agency that serves 22 cities in Orange County and all unincorporated areas. The OCFA protects over 1,300,000 residents from its 61 fire stations located throughout Orange County. OCFA Reserve Firefighters work 21 stations throughout Orange County.
Receives and dispatches emergency calls. The dispatcher answers the initial call, determines the type of call, jurisdiction and closest unit and dispatches units via computer aided dispatch (CAD).
