01/21/06 Back in the summer of 2005 I learned about a man that some friends of mine in Marietta, Oklahoma called "The Whistler". That's really all they know about him. So that got my curiosity up and off searching I went to find this mystery man known as "The Whistler" from Texas.
01/17/06 In 1931 a shooting incident in Ardmore, Oklahoma created such a tension between the countries of Mexico and the United States, it prompted a letter of apology from President Hoover. Some will even go as far to say it almost caused two countries to go to war. Greg Laumbach of New Mexico has written a song about this unbelievable story.
