Located in England, United Kingdom, Olate Ltd is a software development company specialising in products designed for the web. Having started in 2003 as a simple resource for website owners, Olate was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in February 2005 and has since released a number of commercial software products.
What we do
Our first commercial application, iono, is a software deployment and licensing system which allows software developers to manage every aspect of releasing and licensing their creations. This was developed as part of our own need for a good product distribution tool but also to fill a gap in the market for such a system.
However, our very first release was a free product called Olate Download. This is now available under the open source Lesser General Public License and allows any website owner to host files for visitors to download. It is actively developed and supported through our forums and paid support packages.
