Olio Bello Extra Virgin Olive Oil is grown and pressed at Cowaramup Creek Farm, a 320 acre property situated in the beautiful Margaret River region of South Western Australia. Here, our olives revel in the perfect Mediterranean climate and rich organically-farmed, gravelly loam soils. Our award winning olive oils result from of a long term labour of love and a commitment to sustainable ethical agriculture and organic farming principals. This season will herald the release of Olio Bello’s sixth commercial vintage of premium quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Since our first olives were harvested in 1998 Olio Bello has steadily gained industry recognition by receiving numerous awards for the Kurunba, Kalamata, Romanza and Special Release oils over the past five vintages.
Owners Sue and Jack Witkin purchased Cowaramup Creek Farm in 1984 with a vision to rehabilitate the run down dairy farm into a vibrant ecosystem. They began by re-vegetating the property with the planting of thousands of native trees and shrubs. In 1992 came the first olives since which 6000 trees comprising 14 different varieties have been planted.
