About OnyxRain
Cassandra has received numerous awards for her digital photography, both on the national and international level (see website for complete list).
Her photographs have been published through various companies such as the Jones Soda Co., GiftTrap and Rockford Living Magazine.
She works with Adobe Photoshop CS2, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash MX, the Microsoft Office suite and Canon EOS Digital Cameras.

Facts
- Cassandra is self taught in all of her creative skills.
- She is legally blind in one eye, and has been this way since birth.
- In 2006, she was awarded Grand Prize in an international photography competition. She used the prize money to fund the first official Flower Sprites photo shoot later that year.
- Cassandra began learning the art of photography after the birth of her first daughter, Sabrina. She was quoted as saying, "I'm tired of having to pay studio prices for sub-par photos of my child".
- Her daughter, Sabrina, has been featured in six of Cassandra's photographs that have been printed and distributed all throughout the U.S. via the Jones Soda Co. Some of these images have also been available on Canadian labels.
- Both of her daughters, Sabrina and Juliana, have been the key figures in several of Cassandra's award-winning images.
- Cassandra is currently working on several novels and children's books.

Featured Text -- It doesn't take but a few clicks on the RandomPage link to notice that pictures really do liven up a WikiPage. In a world where readers want quick facts and summary information, pictures add those thousands of words with just an image.
