KOpen as is now branded has embarked on a mission to fill the gap in the ICT4D (ICT for Development) by providing cheap solutions to various individuals and organisations as a way of enhancing their day to day businesses and activities, in-turn leading to the Development of our Country.
The team is made up of Open Source Software enthusiasts who will at any opportunity implement an open source project at any Location.
An: All software used in the development of KOpen is freely available on the Internet from the Linux Box running the Apache webserver, to the scripting launguage used PHP basically, the databse in use MySQL none of these costs a penny on the internet so it would not be fair to charge highly for our solutions.
