Althea S, Roanoke, VirginiaMy thyroid hormones were extremely high, I had a goiter as my thyroid gland had grown down into my chest and caused my neck to protrude tremendously . I spoke really fast and had a hard time being still so I was very fidgety. My heart was beating over 125 beats a minute while I was sitting down. The doctor said I had Grave’s Disease and wanted me to take radiation pills to kill my thyroid gland.
Optimum Health recommended a supplemental program that included Thyroid Health and dietary changes and total bed rest. After about six months I began to talk at a normal rate and the doctor said my goiter had completely disappeared as was confirmed by an MRI.
