OurNepal.com today’s context is not a new name even though it has been about a year that we are in the field. We started off as the “Official Website” for the Football World Cup 2002,for the Kingdom of Nepal in association with the Avenues TV. But the football was just the beginning. Our Nepal has a goal to portray a complete picture of Nepal for all those browsers living here and abroad seeking information or fun in very user-friendly and interactive way possible.
On 5th October 2002,we officially launched our website with the mega event “Clash of the Icons” at Dasharath Stadium. There was a friendly football match between elite personalities of “Fashion VS Music" with the musical program performed by the renowned artist of our era. The show was an immense success as we have witnessed the crowd of more than 10,000 people. We thanks Sumy Distillery for launching its new brand of liquor “Juniper Berry” extra dry gin along with us and to all our associates who made this launching event a grand success.
The form of '‘www" in Internet stands for the “World Wide Web”, which means it is accessible from any part of the world where Internet access is available.OurNepal.com is the site being created from Nepal, with the motive to portray bigger and better picture of our country to the world.
