Those who enjoy the great outdoors will feel more than comfortable with activities planned by the "Ottawa Outing Club". We offer a great variety of outdoor events for persons of all ages and fitness levels. These range from single day trips and weekend sorties to week long escapes.
For those new to water sports, instruction sessions are offered in canoeing or for aspiring sea kayakers, and all equipment is supplied including canoes and sea kayaks. You'll enjoy our outdoor activities in the company of others with a spirit of adventure and who share similar interests. All of our outings are designed so that you move at your own pace; the emphasis is not on endurance but rather on enjoyment.
All of our trips are led by guides who have a strong background in outdoor skills and first aid. Their role is to ensure that your adventure with the OOC is worry free and enjoyable. Our 15 passenger vans meet you at convenient pick up spots in the city and transport you and your gear to our start points; the van (sagwagon) also tours our cycle routes to offer any needed assistance.
