- Morgan Owens received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Dakota, and attended the Master of Fine Arts program in painting at Illinois State University, Bloomington. He has been an Artist in Residence at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, at Studios Midwest in Galesburg, Illinois, and, most recently at the Fresno Art Museum in California.
