Our mission is to provide excellent fishing and lodging to our guests. In addition to the primary mission, Pacific Rim also feels obligated to educate people on catch and release fishing and the importance of river conservation. Pacific Rim Outfitters is owned and operated by Dominic and Shannon Bauer. They are year-round residents of Cooper Landing, Alaska, where Pacific Rim's base of operation is located. Pacific Rim works in conjunction with Alaska Clearwater Sportfishing, Shane's Alaska Outdoors, and Wise Guide Outfitters—a combined experience of over 50 years fishing the Kenai Peninsula. Not only does this mean great fishing with experienced local guides, it also provides for a standard of safety that is second to none. Our track record speaks for itself… PERFECT!
Dominic was born in Dillon, MT. and was raised in Washington and Oregon. He then moved to Cooper Landing, Alaska in 1993. Falling in love with the river and all her splendor is not difficult when your community is based around it. In 2003 Pacific Rim was established after several years of working with a local sportfishing lodge.
