Palmetto Pines Plantation, located in Willacoochee, GA, is owned and operated by George McCranie. We will be happy to give you a glimpse of life in a small Southern town with all of its character and charm while you enjoy your stay at our plantation. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to view varied scenary which include towering majestic Georgia pines, fields, ponds and the pristine beauty of the Alapaha River.Our lodge, the Big House, was built in the early l890`s. It boasts 15 foot ceilings, intricate millwork, and expansive porches ideal for relaxing and observing the local wildlife.
During your hunt, you will be aboard custom designed and built hunting wagons which afford an excellent view of the dogs and surrounding area.
For your hunting enjoyment, our plantation is home to professionally trained German Shorthaired and English Pointers. Our kennels are also available to accommodate your trained dogs.
