Paqocha Farm Alpacas

Some years ago we decided to leave the city life behind and to start something more suited to our interests. Previously we have both been involved in scuba diving (see UNDERWATER) and we were missing the interaction with animals and the freedom of travelling and working at wonderful places. This desire took us on a search for something original, which incorporated both our love for animals and the outdoors.
We believe we have found the right combination with alpacas, as they are lovely creatures, easy to care for and most importantly a firm investment. As a relatively small operation, we are able to maintain that personal contact with our animals and learn each individual's behaviour and their characteristics. This way we are confident of providing a high standard of service to our customers and supplying healthy alpacas of the highest quality.
Our farm lies approximately an hour south of Auckland CBD, close to the Seabird coast of Miranda and conveniently close to Coromandel peninsula and the Waikato region (see MAP). Set amongst rolling hills and farmland, the new custom-made and user friendly premises make a comfortable base for the alpaca farm.
