A team of professionals at the Girls and Boys Town National Resource and Training Center brings Parenting.org to you. We specialize in training, consulting, and researching parenting practices that will help you and others like you deal with the day-to-day care taking, guidance, and development of your child.
Girls and Boys Town is officially known as Father Flanagan's Boys' Home, the original Boys Town, a leader in the treatment and care of "at-risk" boys and girls and in the research and development of programs to meet the ever-changing needs of these children and their families. In 1996, Girls and Boys Town, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, directly cared for more than 29,000 children, directly assisted nearly 380,000 children and families through the Boys Town National Hotline and indirectly assisted more than 750,000 children and families through other outreach and training programs.
Girls and Boys Town's national headquarters and its largest child-care facility are located in the Village of Boys Town, Nebraska a National Historic Landmark west of Omaha. In addition, we have Girls and Boys Town programs and satellite campuses in communities across the United States. A Girls and Boys Town program may be in or near your community.
