About This Site
"The Web has had a huge impact on my life, both as a parent and as a pregnancy and parenting book author. I have turned to the Internet on days when I have been longing for support from other parents or hungry for information on a particular health problem that one of my children has been facing. That's the beauty of the Internet. The Web allows us to connect with other parents -- to share our collective mother and father wisdom in ways that previous generations of Moms and Dads never could have dreamed of. It's also an amazing research tool. But it can have a dark side, too. Sometimes it can be hard to distinguish between credible information and pseudoinformation when we're hungry for answers to a particular pediatric health dilemma or pregnancy or parenting question. That's why I put this website together: to help parents to zero in on the truly crème de la crème of parenting websites as quickly and easily as possible. (After all, your surfing time is at a premium once you have kids. There are a million and one other demands on your time!) Obviously, this is website is still in its infancy and it will be evolving on an ongoing basis as I unearth more online parenting treasures. I hope the site proves useful to you and your family in the meantime.
