- Revealing a gloomier dimension of the disease and an unmatchable spirit to live, a diary tells us the story of its owner ‘Tiya’, a lovely girl who is born HIV +ve.......One fateful morning Avinash and Nivedita are informed by their Doctor friend that Tiya, their four year old daughter is HIV infected by birth. Both Avinash and Nivedita are shattered to know that the blunders in their premarital lives have devastated not only their lives but also the life of their innocent child.They try to fight out the disease but their greatest defeat comes not from the disease but from the mindsets of the people who treat Tiya most inhumanly........ Tiya is turned out from five schools and forced to live a reclusive life....... she also looses her parents to the dreaded disease....... yet she resolves to defeat every obstacle in her way and outshines as an example to all those who are fighting the disease and the mindsets of the people as well. The fictional format of this 25 minutes film has covered three major modes of HIV transmission i.e. (1) Intravenous drug use (2) Heterosexual transmission and (3) Mother to child transmission. Further, the film effectively depicts DSD (Discrimination, Stigma and Denial), and finally the spirit to fight the disease.
