Director Derrick Parkins is a Certified Financial Planner with over 20 years experience in life and general insurance and more than 7 years experience in the banking and finance industry.
Through his dealings with clients Derrick could tell that many were frustrated with the inflexibility of the banks and were actively seeking finance solutions that would award them far greater flexibility elsewhere. So in 1996 Derrick expanded the services provided by his financial planning business to include arranging home loans for customers. Park First Home Loans was established to cater exclusively for this growing demand.
Based in Brisbane, Park First Home Loans has a team of experienced brokers, mainly ex-bank managers (the helpful ones) who specialise in providing a professional yet personal home loan advisory service. We assist clients by analysing their home loan needs, doing the home loan shopping for them, completing their applications and guiding them right through to settlement. We always take care to explain in easy to understand terms the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of loans available and assist clients to make the choice that best suits their individual needs and circumstances.
