Parrot Software first started in 1981 with one program. Since that time we have developed over 150 different software programs for Communication, memory, cognitive reasoning, and attention. The head of our company, Dr. Frederick F. Weiner, Ph. D., CCC-SP, has taught speech pathology at the Pennsylvania State University, University of Maryland, and Ohio University.
Our programs are used by most Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers throughout the US including Veterans Administration Hospitals, Kaiser Permanente, The National Rehabilitation Hospital, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Centers, Johns Hopkins Hospital and The University of Michigan Hospital to name a few. Our treatment programs have also been used at many International Centers as well and have been translated into 5 different languages. Our strategy has been to enlist the services of rehabilitation specialists to mirror what they do with patients working to improve communication, memory, and attention.
