Description
In 1974, Greg and Carol Fleck built their home on Partridge Road in the Town of Barre. The following year, a four stall barn was constructed. This was to house Carol's first horse, eleven-year companion and best friend, Iowa Dawn, along with a couple of boarders. Not long after the barn was constructed, Greg and Carol bought their first Morgan gelding Melita's Flash.
Their family grew, too, with daughters Hollie and Ashley arriving in 1978 and 1981. Thankfully, they grew to love horses and wanted to learn to ride.
Danville Dimple was chosen as their first horse. They were a perfect match! She taught them so well, that they were able to enjoy several wins and championships on other great Morgans such as J.L.'s Leading Man, Is Putting On The Ritz, Limerick Pepper Don, Partridge Hill Pageant and Treble's Tanqueray.
