A self-taught artist, Angi Laframboise was born in 1969 in Atlanta and raised in Marietta, Georgia. As a young child, much of her time was spent drawing and sculpting people and animals.

In 1995, with the encouragement of her husband (also an artist), Angi finally pursued a career as a professional portrait artist. She began selling charcoal, and later pastel portraits through framing and art shops locally in Marietta and Roswell. In early 1997, she extended her advertising through her website. She has also expanded her artwork to include oils and acrylics. Over the years, her recognition as a portrait and fine art print artist has grown, with collectors now reaching as far as Europe, Australia, and Asia.

In 2001, Angi began working on a completely different type of project - her new cartoon line, currently including general funny dog cartoons, as well as breed-specific cartoons. The cartoon line has grown at a surprising rate... not only in size, but in popularity, as well.
