The EnterpriseArchitecturalSpaceOrganizingTable (see also in readable TablePdf format) in is a two-dimensional table that captures and organizes business artifacts according to the decisions that produce them. Business artifacts could include plans, notes, models, scripts, code, or other items that different roles in your enterprise use to make decisions and view the enterprise architecture in different ways. The PatternShare uses the table to organize patterns.
The organizing table builds on earlier work of Zachman, Andersen Consulting, and test-driven development to produce a highly granular map of the enterprise space that is organized by viewpoints, roles, and interrogatives.
Rows of the Organizing Table
The organizing table divides enterprise architecture into five broad enterprise viewpoints that correspond to IT departments in most enterprise organizations. These viewpoints appear in the table as rows; the rows are organized from general to specific from top to bottom. The viewpoints are Business Architecture, Integration Architecture, Application Architecture, Operational Architecture, and Development Architecture.
