Description
Paul was born and raised in Southern California where he grew up and later became a police officer. In 1983, the 23 year old was injured in a diving accident and was paralyzed from the waist-down. Since the accident, he uses a wheelchair for mobility. This however, did not and does not stop Paul from living life to it’s fullest.
For years Paul has enjoyed woodworking and creating things with his hands. From the days of working with his dad in the garage with his toy tool set, to wood shop in school, woodwork has always been fascinating and interesting to Paul.
Even after the accident, his love for working with his hands and wood continued. When he moved to Oregon in 1994, he continued to pursue his passion of woodworking. Paul currently lives in the Willamette Valley, in the foothills of the Cascades, where his workshop is also located. The workshop and some of the tools have been adapted so he can work sitting, from his wheelchair.
