Personal Dimension X (PDX) is a personal mobile media and community service based in China. PDX signs up a cross section of people across Mobile/PC/PDA internet networks establishing individually distributed personal blogging media. PDX then aggregates user-generated content and participants into compelling media and vibrant communities.
PDX product combines cross-platform terminals, multimedia content, cross-network interactivity and multi-protocol publishing. PDX system is platform-neutral, so mobile, PC and PDA users can use PDX full service with one or any combination. We believe in the convergence and inevitable ubiquitous user experience throughout different terminals for internet. Users can blog via MMS, WAP, SMS, WEB and mobile email at their own convenience which has been embraced by PDX users.
Majority of PDX users prefer to use mobile phones rather than PCs; they either do not have a computer, or favor mobile phones over computers as a means of communication. As 400 million mobile users greatly surpass 100 million pc users in total number, we predict a dominant position for a mobile-centric approach and are basing PDX product design and marketing for a fast emerging market that is currently underserved. PDX adoption of a free service approach for PDX basic offerings has been a win-win strategy for users, operators and PDX. We believe more in long-term community growth rather than short-term applications.
