He was even more surprised by the uncharacteristically rude reactions of the owner's mother when Mark was having a phenomenal year of success in growth and profit. The competitor soon eventually closed his doors to his new venture there and opened up in a new location...New York City. The rest is history and you all know the name of that ousted competitor's restaurant which now is a world-wide chain...The Hard Rock Cafe.
