Description
Peak High has conducted hiking and climbing trips with people from all over the world, who have without exception expressed satisfaction with the high level of service and safety. Most guided trips are conducted with only one or two clients at a time. Trips are deliberately kept small, fairly low budget outings, with a lot of personal service and attention.
Gavin Raubenheimer is a certified "Mountain Guide" (SAMGA) and "Mountaineering Instructor" (MDT). At present, he is also the past President of the KZN Section of the Mountain Club of South Africa. Since 1996 he has been a rescue leader for the Mountain Club operating in the Drakensberg. In 2000 he represented South Africa at the International High Performance Climbing Meet in Wales. He has been hiking and climbing since 1978 and his travels have taken him to most venues in southern Africa , Mt Kenya, the French Alps, Scotland, Wales, the Canadian Rockies and the Andes.
