A Little About Elwood
My real name is Peter Michael Johnson; among my multitude of nicknames are Elwood the Meek, Pejo, Sub-Zero, Elf Barf, Petie, Peej, and Rabbit. You can read all about me, as well as a list of questions that I've been asked or wish someone would ask me (links open in a new window).
To the right is a picture of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7, and the big yellow chicken above is a chocobo from the same game. Ever since I rented a Super Nintendo and Final Fantasy 2 a decade ago, the Final Fantasy line of role-playing video games has been one of my favorites. The last I played with any passion was Final Fantasy 3, and it's still my favorite game of all time--very sweeping and dramatic, with the best score I've heard in a video game by far. I tried out Final Fantasy 7 on my computer, and thanks to video card problems, it never quite worked right. I've played it and 8 a bit, and am still waiting until critical mass forces me to buy a PS2 and I catch up on old times, including the pre-first-person classics (up through FF6 by the Japanese release numbers, I believe).
This page has come a long way from its humble (and slightly inaccurate) beginnings, huh? In fact my whole site has, especially with the latest redesign in September 2003. But that page remains funny--at least to me.
