Perachem Limited was founded in January 2004, to exploit innovative chemistry discovered in the Department of Colour and Polymer Chemistry (CPC) at the University of Leeds.
CPC is a unique facility, recognised worldwide as a centre of excellence for research in all aspects of colour chemistry. The department is particularly strong in applied research and has excellent links with the market leaders in the textile, cosmetic, detergent, packaging, printing and dyestuffs industries.
The business has exclusive rights over intellectual property in the area of innovative bleach activator compounds and textile treatments. Perachem is led by a team of experienced business leaders and technical specialists whom are recognised by the industries they serve as being experts in the field.
