The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters provides education, networking and professional integrity helping foster success. The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters is a non-profit membership organization originally founded in 1989, to promote excellence among pet sitters and to serve as a voice for the expanding industry .
NAPPS provides educational tools to its membership. A certification is available. The certification program assists in the development of pet care as well as business skills.
There are many other educational opportunities for NAPPS members. NAPPS conducts an annual conference providing tools to help members hone their pet care and business skills. Additional support includes monthly teleconferences and virtual library.
