Company Founder, Paul Phillips, founded Website Hosting Solutions in December of 2000 in Anaheim, CA. Later the company changed its name to Phillips Data to better reflect its offerings. The company started out primarily as a web hosting company, and has grown considerably since. Services have expanded from web hosting to also include Internet access, web design, programming and more. Financially stable, Phillips Data is a privately held, profitable company.

I vividly remember the day I got my first PC, a Pentium 166. (Wow, my cell phone has a faster processor in it than that thing did.) At the time I was studying at a local college with my major in Electrical Engineering and working part time at West Bond, Inc. I was fully involved in the production of wire-bonders and accessories, and excited about it. As with everything, I took pride in my work and set the bar high. I never had much interest in computers before then, and that little Pentium 166 changed everything.

My interest in computer and network technology began to grow. I was forced to change my major, and while juggling school and a part time job at West Bond, Inc., I decided to add my own business to the mix. As a learning experience of course, Ive always been a hands-on learner. Thats when I founded Website Hosting Solutions, later changed to Phillips Data. Yes, the company started out as a classroom for my desire to learn, it has taught me many things, and continues to daily. Business is fascinating, and I am grateful that I live in a country that allows me to experience that first-hand. Well, business began to grow, and grow it did. It quickly became my full-time job. Yet, it was, and continues to be unlike any job I have ever had. And I mean that in the best way possible.
