World War II as a stone mason and general contracting
Firm.
1945- First reuse of ancient reclaimed limestone flooring
reclaimed from the streets of downtown Nicosia on the
Grecian Island of Cyprus.
1946- First foundation works municipal contracts in Malta
and Gozo followed by over 30 other such contracts
in various Mediterranean Island nations.
1948- Birth of our hand carving studio and mosaic Atelier.
1949- First shipment of our stone products to Europe.
1955- First shipment of our stone products to the USA.
1962- First shipment of our stone products to Australia.
1979- First dealership program established in France.
1986- First sale of the "Biblical Stone" (TM) TO THE USA.
1987- Joseph Sage Sr. hands over day to day operations
to sons.
1994- First dealership program established in the USA.
1995- Third generation grandsons join the family business.
1996- The first of four grandsons emigrates to the USA.
2000- First trade showroom/programs established in the USA.

2008- Phoenician Stone expands their Corona Del Mar
showroom. Arizona, Denver and Dallas dealerships
