California Nude ~ Fine-Art Photography
Description
S.F. Hamman has more than 20 years experience with darkroom and field aspects of fine-art photography. Images were made on T-max 100 & 400 film, Kodac Hi Speed Infared film, and Ilford FP4 + film. Cameras used included Nikon 35 mm , Pentax 6 by 7 medium format , and a Wista 4 by 5 field camera. The photographs were taken between l989 and l999. Prints are made with gelatin silver fiber-based paper. Matting is archival.
The models are amateurs. Most are personally interested in photography and many enjoy combining modelling with outdoor interests. The models have been active participants in the creation and selection of the photographs.
The outdoor landscapes were photographed in the Sierra Nevada of California. The outdoor figure images were taken in the Lake Tahoe region . The indoor photographs were created in studio locations of the San Francisco Bay Area.
