Computer Aided Detection(CAD) is a technologically advanced process whereby x-ray films are processed by computers in order to help radiologists improve accuracy. While computers cannot read x-rays as well as radiologists, it has been demonstrated that the addition of computer aided detection(CAD) can decrease the number of missed cancers by radiologists reading standard mammograms. Our company supplies CAD services to institutions that wish to improve the accuracy of their mammography reading. These institutions typically either cannot afford the high cost of starting a CAD service, or they wish to try out the CAD process without investing in the instrumentation at this time.

Is to continue to be the number one company supplying CAD services to institutions that wish to outsource this process, while improving patient care in the field of mammography.
Company Profile
Our company was formed by Gary Robinson, M.D., a physician dedicated to the improvement of breast care for women. He found that new technology, which can improve the accuracy of medical care, often takes years to introduce throughout the country because of the excessive costs of this new technology. In order to facilitate the process of rapidly deploying improvements in technology for the benefits of women's breast care, Mamassist was created.
