- About PIER Systems
- PIER Systems was formed in August, 2000 to provide on-demand solutions to meet the ever increasing demands for fast, direct and transparent communications. The PIER System evolved out of a large-scale industrial accident that occurred in the Pacific Northwest in 1999. It was clear that the ability of communicators to meet the rapidly rising demands for instant information in the internet age was not being met by currently available technologies. PIER was designed specifically to put all vital tools needed by communicators onto a single, easy-to-use web-based platform in order to improve speed, efficiency and information control.
