The Compleat Piers Anthony came about primarily as a way to track my collection of Piers Anthony books and other collectibles. Many items have been packed away for years and I wanted to get them out, dust them off and get them listed once and for all. I have several thousand editions of Piers' books, magazines, pulps, and much more. Here is a quick peek at a bunch of it. Warning, there are a lot of big pictures on this page.
I frequent the alt.fan.piers-anthony newsgroup and also PATH (the Piers Anthony Thread), and many times the question comes up about what books are available, what do people recommend for reading, etc. Usually they are pointed to the bibliography on Hi Piers. I thought it would be nice to put together a more complete bibliography of not only the popular or newer books, but newspaper and magazine articles, short stories, and many of the older novels as well. In addition, I am listing the rarer limited edition books, the ones you don't see too often.
Also since I have a great many of my books autographed by Piers, those will be included in the listings too. With several samples of his autograph, you can help determine if the autographed book you are buying looks legitimate (without having to pay an autograph expert to verify it). Since I own over 300 Piers Anthony autographed items, many purchased or given me directly by Piers, I feel I have come to be somewhat of an expert at spotting forgeries.
