When this crisis first surfaced in early February 2003, just like you, we were faced with a critical choice. We could have either done nothing and placed all of our faith and trust in ALPA and its attorneys, OR taken matters into our own hands and along with you, attempt to secure justice for the pilots and spouses in our group. It has now been confirmed beyond any doubts that the first choice was never a viable option. Together we will seek justice and fairness for every pilot in the non-profit USAirways Pilots for Justice Group.

As a Captain at USAirways, this hits close to home because it hurts so many good people in the commercial airline industry. Our retirements were stolen away by those who know how to manipulate the system. They're the same guys who walk away with their 'golden parachutes'. They are the same guys who used the bankruptcy court system to 'negotiate' our contracts. For example Stephen Wolf, Rakesh Gangwahl, Larry Nagen, Dave Siegal ( the list goes on and on), left USAirways with multi-millions of $$ while the working stiffs took pay cuts and lost most of their pensio ns. And this trend is snowballing in corporate America as more and more 'Top Managers' are learning that this system will reward them with personal wealth if they steal from their employees.
